About Us

We provide a powerful editorial management software for newsrooms, magazine and speciality publishers, communications teams, content marketers and broadcasters.

Before founding Desk-Net, CEO Matthias Kretschmer worked as a strategy and process consultant for publishers and as an online project manager for large international clients.

In these roles, Matthias saw companies of all sizes struggle to adapt to the ever-growing complexity of publishing. As they began to publish across multiple channels, traditional editorial workflow and management tools failed to keep pace.

Modern publishers would need a better tool to stay organized and in control. And so, Desk-Net was born.

We launched a beta version of Desk-Net with our pilot customer, the German media organization, Frankfurter Rundschau. Over the following months and years we worked diligently to improve and optimize our software. As the product improved, our customer base grew.

Our growth has increased significantly in recent years as more and more media companies realize the importance of powerful editorial management software. Today 20,000 journalists, content publishers and communications specialists around the world rely on Desk-Net. Our customers range from traditional local, regional, and national publishers to content marketers, specialty publishers and communications departments.

Our software development team works tirelessly to improve Desk-Net. Every six weeks, we release updates to Desk-Net to keep a steady stream of improved experience and functionality.
